Elevate is high-level leadership development for middle managers and experienced leaders. The content included as part of the Elevate Institute™ is designed to equip experienced leaders with the strategic leadership tools that they will need to move into the next chapter of their careers. This includes topics like operating with an enterprise leadership mindset, making unbiased leadership decisions, identifying and utilizing leadership styles, and talent development.
The Elevate Institute™ is delivered in four monthly classes in a cohort-style learning environment. All classes are delivered virtually via Zoom.
Each class is broken up into three learning modules with breaks in between. We schedule a 30-minute break in the morning and a 60-minute lunch break. Our day starts at 9:00 AM central time and wraps at 3:30 PM central time.
Our Elevate Institute™ content is customized to the needs of cohort participants, targeting the skill areas that they and their organizations have identified as priorities.
Each participant and their supervisor take a confidential pre-program assessment that allows us to deliver the tools that are most relevant to each individual cohort. We also conclude each cohort with a post-program assessment to measure the growth that our participants have experienced over the course of the program.
All participants receive a written resource that is specific to the content that their cohort will be focusing on. This working document is used as a guide throughout the cohort and remains as a resource upon completion of the program.
The Elevate Institute™ focuses on three core skill families most needed by experienced managers looking to take the next step into organizational leadership people leaders: people, strategy, and agility. The Venn diagram below shows all the possible modules that are offered through Elevate, however, the final content for each cohort is chosen based on the results of the pre-assessments.
Coaching
Each Elevate participant is offered a one-on-one coaching session with a course instructor. This time allows them to specifically apply concepts covered in the program to their scope of influence. These sessions also provide the opportunity for personalized, confidential career coaching.
Communities of Practice
One of the most enriching elements of a cohort-style learning environment is the opportunity to engage in peer coaching. These once-a-month 60-minute events allow participants the opportunity to talk about how they are incorporating the material taught in the previous class and troubleshoot in a constructive safe space about the challenges they face. All Institute graduates are invited and encouraged to attend CoPs in perpetuity.
Graduate Groups
After a participant completes their Institute course, they have the opportunity to join an exclusive community of fellow graduates. Our Graduate Groups offer participants the opportunity to forge powerful connections with a tight-knit team of 5-6 fellow graduates as well as a larger cohort of graduate participants, engage in valuable peer coaching at monthly one-hour sessions that foster meaningful discussions and spark growth, and continue leadership development with a group of committed peer advisors who share their leadership language and can comprehend leadership insights and challenges.
